My name is Lisa and I am a passionate and highly experienced Independent Speech and Language Therapist (SLT) with over 15 years experience of working with children and adults with a wide range of speech, language, communication, emotional, and learning difficulties. I am the founder and lead speech and language therapist at Bee Heard Speech & Language Therapy (SLT). In 2016, after many years of working within the NHS and education, I decided to begin working independently and eventually set up Bee Heard SLT within Wales and the South West of England. We are also starting to develop a service within Kenya, Africa which aims to provide paid-for and free services to some of the most vulnerable children and adults in Kenya.
Bee Heard provides a service within the UK and Kenya for both children and adults with a wide range of speech, language, communication and swallowing difficulties. Our passion is to support both children and adults with speech, language, communication, and swallowing difficulties, as well as their families and carers. We work alongside and provide training for individuals, parents/carers, support workers, teachers, and professionals within both private and public healthcare and education. We have a specialist interest in supporting children and adults with Apraxia of speech (AOS), Developmental Language Disorders (DLD), Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Cerebral Palsy, Downs Syndrome, Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) difficulties, Severe Literacy Difficulties, Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI), Stroke, Learning Difficulties and Learning Disabilities, as well as the use of Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) and Assistive Technology to increase communication and independence.

We continuously strive to provide high-quality support and services to everyone we meet.
